Yeditepe University, founded in 1996 by the Istanbul Education and Culture Foundation (ISTEK); With its pioneering, distinguished, academic and management staff in many fields in Turkey, in the light of Ataturkist thoughts, it aims to raise young people who are contemporary, investigative, innovative, have all the qualifications and equipment needed by the business world, have knowledge of technology, know the world culture, and have strengthened their self-confidence. Our university provides education for the information age with its contemporary academic programs and practices.

Yeditepe University academic activities include 13 Faculties, 2 Colleges and 1 Vocational School, including Dentistry, Pharmacy, Education, Science and Literature, Fine Arts, Law, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Communication, Architecture, Engineering, Health Sciences, Medicine and Computer and Information Sciences. The School offers education in a total of 69 undergraduate programs and 4 associate degree programs. In addition, he carries out postgraduate education in 91 master's degree and 44 doctoral programs within the Institutes of Ataturk Principles and History of Revolution, European Studies, Educational Sciences, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences and Social Sciences. Yeditepe University, whose medium of instruction is English, has been preparing young people from all over Turkey for life within the 26 August Settlement since its establishment.

Yeditepe University; It provides education in the 26 August Settlement, which was built to meet the education, culture, art, sports and all needs of the students. 26 August Settlement; It is located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, at the foot of Kayışdağı, on an area of 125 thousand square meters with a closed area of 223 thousand square meters, with its unique architecture. Inspired by Seljuk Architecture, the 26 August Settlement has educational buildings, social facilities and open areas, as well as two separate student hotels surrounding these buildings, with a total capacity of 3,270 students.

Our University, which ranked first among the foundation universities in Turkey in the 2017 and 2018 evaluations of Green Metric, which is an international platform on sustainability and environmental awareness and determines the greenest universities in the world, also broke new ground and produced its own energy with the rooftop solar energy system it established within the campus. It is the only university in Turkey that can produce The system, which is the largest roof application in Istanbul, has a capacity of 1 MW and 3850 Axitec panels and Huawei interverters were used in the power plant. At the same time, work on a 350 KW wind energy investment has started in the area belonging to the university in Şile. Work continues to complete the solar energy panels to 10 MW.

The buildings on our campus are entered through large doors reaching 22 meters in height. Our university has modern architectural features transferred from the typical Seljuk Architecture to the present day, with its illuminated courtyards. The exterior of the buildings, which combine both Seljuk Architecture and modern architecture, are covered with natural stones brought from Anatolia. Unye stone was used on the building facades to keep it cool in summer and warm in winter, and polyurethanes were used as heat panels.
