TED University was established by the Turkish Education Association Higher Education Foundation in Ankara with the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions (Law No. 5913) published in the Official Gazette dated 07.07.2009 and numbered 27281. It is a young, dynamic and contemporary city university established in Ankara in 2009, with the Turkish Education Association bringing its nearly one hundred years of experience in the field of education to higher education.
It has adopted the philosophy of "liberal education", which provides the knowledge, skills and competencies required by globalization with the principle of "human first". The language of instruction is English in all departments. TED University, which aims to provide quality in education with its Faculties of Education, Science and Literature, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Architecture and Design, Engineering, English Language School and Graduate Programs Institute, is one of the leading higher education institutions in Turkey.
