Izmir Tınaztepe University is the only university in the region that has the qualifications of a thematic university serving in the field of health.
Our university serves directly to the development of our country by serving as a campus university. Izmir Tınaztepe University was built on a campus area of 102 acres.
Within our university campus, there are 14 educational buildings, two training and research hospitals, student dormitories and many social facilities.
Our university was established as a campus university that has the capacity to provide education to a total of 8000 students in 5 years and directly contributes to the development of the region and the country.
Our university benefits from all the opportunities of its patron organization, Tınaztepe Health Group, the largest health group in Izmir, in its education-training and structuring processes, and transfers the knowledge and experience that the health group has accumulated over 20 years to its region and students as a source of qualified information. All four hospitals owned by Tınaztepe Health Group are used in the education processes of students. By making its own research and practice hospitals ready for post-clinical education, Izmir Tınaztepe University protocols were prepared and as a result of submission to the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, the affiliation process with Galen Tınaztepe Hospital and Buca Tınaztepe Hospital was completed. It continues its activities with the academic units of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Services and the Faculty of Dentistry, which started education as of the 2022-2023 academic year, as well as the Izmir Tınaztepe University Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center.
