Istanbul Commerce University was founded in 2001 by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation and has 6 faculties (Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Law, Communication, Engineering, Architecture and Design), 1 Vocational School (Computer Programming, Cyber Security), There is an English Preparatory Department, 5 Institutes (Foreign Trade, Social Sciences, Science, Finance Institute, Communication Science and Internet Institute) and research and application centers. Our university started its education life with 73 students and continues with 9 thousand students and more than 300 academicians.

Our campuses, located in Sütlüce and Küçükyalı, one of the leading districts of Istanbul, one of the cultural capitals of the world, offer education parallel to scientific and technological developments, as well as cultural and artistic activities and opportunities for research on a global scale. The existence of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, one of the largest and most established Chambers of Commerce in Turkey and the world, plays a major role in ensuring that each student who chooses our university receives a universal education that is professionally equipped and integrates theory and practice without breaking away from the realities of life.

In our university, where the number of departments teaching in English is constantly increasing, three departments continue to provide English-supported education in addition to eight departments taught entirely in English. Thus, an education model in which our students will gain global experience has been put into practice. Erasmus, which comes to life within the framework of cooperation agreements signed as we move towards becoming an international university, offers our students and academics the opportunity to gain international experience. As a student-focused city university where success is rewarded, one of our main assets has been the ability of our students to study without breaking away from social life and to undertake social responsibility projects that they can be proud of, with the power they receive from the university.
