Doğuş University, which was opened with the successful work of the Doğuş Education Foundation, established in 1995, and with the Law No. 4281 dated 09 July 1997, adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly, is a non-profit foundation university with public legal personality.

Doğuş University has gained a successful place in higher education in a short time with rapid academic progress; It is located at all levels of higher education with 35 undergraduate programs in 5 faculties, 1 college program in the school of health sciences, 36 associate degree programs in the vocational school, 21 master's and 3 doctoral programs in the postgraduate education institute.

Doğuş University, which has prioritized providing quality education with a distinguished academic staff, educating well-equipped students and making a qualified contribution to the world of science since 1997, is progressing without deviating from this goal. As the two most important examples; Web Of Science data and URAP reports show that Doğuş University is among the top 2 thousand universities in the world, and among the top 3 foundation universities (without a medical faculty) in Istanbul.
