Why Altinbas University?

Our university, which was founded in 2008 by the Mehmet Altınbaş Education and Culture Foundation under the name "Istanbul Kemerburgaz University", continues on its way with the name "Altınbaş University" with the name change made in 2017.

Altınbaş University, founded on the "bequest of investment in education" of the late businessman Mehmet Altınbaş, has always been the most valuable social responsibility legacy for the Altınbaş Family. With the name change, the University, backed by the power of Altınbaş Holding, with this driving force, new and He began to walk faster and more confidently towards his competitive goals.

Altınbaş University, which admitted its first students in the 2011-2012 academic year, has rapidly progressed towards becoming an international research university with the breakthroughs it has made in a short time. In this context, it continued to create added value in the field of science with patents received, TÜBİTAK projects and leadership in international congresses. Altınbaş University, which has 10 faculties, 1 Graduate Education Institute and 3 Schools, continues education with a total of 26 undergraduate, 11 associate degree, 60 master's and 13 doctoral programs. Within the scope of its goal of becoming an international center of science, more than 6 thousand of the more than 10 thousand students studying at the university are students from 101 different countries of the world.​
